RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and take great pride in the quality of the products we sell. Supporting this with great customer service is our top priority.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please follow these guidelines and we will help you to return your purchase to us.

 

THE RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement via  e-mail.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery [only if your selected choice of delivery was standard shipping], without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We will collect the goods. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods and  provide us with a shipping tracking number.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Goods can be returned and will be accepted only in their original packing, unpacked, unopened.

The right to cancel does not apply to the following kind of contracts:

• Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
• Contracts for the supply of goods to companies.
• Contracts for supply outside the EU/EEA Cancellation and Returns

WHICH COUNTRIES ARE WE DELIVERING

We deliver to ALL countries and ALL locations; basically everywhere, except Somalia, Syria and Yemen.  For extreme and or remote locations please contact us and you will receive a quote almost immediately.

You may need to contact us also for dangerous goods (for ex. battery storage) and some of the over-sized items as well and/or special project orders before you proceed with your order.

If you are a customer from Egypt, Cuba, North Korea or Iran please be advised that shipments may be subject to an extra scrutiny, before and after the shipment is dispatched.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

www.akwaabaenergy.com currently delivers to more than 142 countries across the globe, through the largest logistical companies like DHL, DB Schenker, UPS and TNT FEDEX to fulfill your order. 

At the same time for certain countries and regions we use special carriers.

The delivery to your address – if not agreed otherwise – is NOT free. If your Cart Total does not contain your delivery costs than you will be quoted and notified by mail on the delivery time and the costs associated with the delivery (marked as “Flat Rate” at your Check-Out process). Normally, this notification happens within 24 hours after your check-out and payment, unless your order requires specialised logistical solution.

DELIVERY TIME

• FOR EU COUNTRIES

Orders dispatched to countries within the European Union will be delivered between 4 and 14 working days; however in majority of the cases we do deliver the products to your address within 24-72 hours, depending on the clearance of your payment in our bank account. 

• FOR NON-EU COUNTRIES

Orders dispatched to countries outside the European Union will be delivered between 1 and 5 weeks. As our Main Logistics & Distribution Center is based in Vienna, Austria; Cardiff, United Kingdom and Frankfurt, Germany delivery times to some countries may differ from those quoted above.

Please note that the transit time for Dangerous Goods (UN 3480, Class 9, Packing Group II), covering mainly the spectrum of the battery storage products – outside of European Union – is between 15 and 52 days to almost overseas locations.

DELIVERY RATES

Serving customers in more than 142 different countries means that unfortunately we cannot offer worldwide Flat Rate or Free shipping for the goods ordered. For estimated delivery rates to your country, please contact us.

BULKY GOODS AND OVERSIZED PACKAGES

Deliveries exceeding the maximum weight and/or size and/or are considered dangerous goods (for ex. batteries or battery storage items) may require shipment by specialist carriers. In such cases, if that logistical option is not covered during your check-out we will notify you by mail or phone of the additional costs involved as wells as the estimated delivery time. Delivery Options

GENERAL DELIVERY RULES

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO DELIVERIES ARE MADE ON SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND OTHER NATIONAL OR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS!

You will be notified about the estimated delivery time and costs to your address no later than 24 hours after your check-out process and payment. The notification on shipping and the costs associated is done via e-mail on the email address indicated under your Profile in your My Account section.  

Please note that if your order includes items currently Not in Stock; however back order is allowed delivery may take an additional 5 to 10 working days. If a Not in Stock item or another item indicated On Stock cannot be delivered due to various reasons (for ex. becomes Out of Stock by the time of payment processing – on First ordered First Served basis) than – if not agreed otherwise in writing – your payment is immediately fully refunded to your account. 

Unforeseen logistic related expenses.

Any fees incurred by any shipping carrier due to lack of delivery information (address & or location) will automatically be billed to the customer. Please make sure you check your order confirmation to ensure accurate information has been noted.

If placing order via phone, please inform sales representative to note any shipping irregularities (which may be inaccessible to shipping carriers such as narrow driveway, rural locations, steep hills, dirt / gravel roads and missing address information and signage.)
